Both countries were 'battle ready'. Israel/Iran 11-29-2007: Some news reports say that Israel could 'win' a nuclear war with Iran. Iran: 11-29-2007: Deploys a new 'sonar evading' submarine. US/China 11-22-2007: USS Kitty Hawk battle group denied access to Hong Kong port. Starts a small naval row with China. On 11-28-2007 China reports it as a 'misunderstanding'. On 11-29-2007 the cause is deemed deeper than a misunderstanding. Probable causes: A new $940 million dollar upgrade to Taiwan's patriot missile system. Also, the Dali Lama's recent visit to the United States. Russia: 11-16-2007: Threatening to put short range nuclear missiles in Belarus to counter any EU/US missile shield. Pakistan: 11-16-2007: State of Emergency continues...Al-Qaeda is in the northwest area of that country. Unfortunately, that is were some of Pakistan's nuclear installations are located.
